OUR HISTORY
Shur-Fast has a long and rich history as its root goes back almost 100 years ago as the manufacturing plant was established in Montreal in 1924.
The company is independently owned and operated under the present management for 20 years by Mr Jim Johnson and Angelo Michetti who purchased the company in 1999 from the former owner.
Being in the fasteners industry since over 50 years, the present owners and other members of the team bring a vast experience in fasteners’ manufacturing of superior quality fasteners.

SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENT
The management of Shur-Fast is very sensitive to the environment. The company adopted years ago an environmental policy to reduce its environmental footprint at all levels as much as possible such as:
Source suppliers that have an environmental policy.
Follow strict municipal and Governmental regulations regarding wastewater and air pollution for hazardous materials; use of biodegradable soap for washing operation.
Use cardboard recycled material for packaging.
Dispose its scrap metal for recycling or reuse.
Recover, recycle or reuse materials such as cardboard, plastic bags etc…
Mitigate impact for its zinc process by strict containment within the plant.
Manufacture durable non -corrosive fasteners that make woodwork last longer and avoid repairs or even replacement.
Optimize its shipping by delivering mostly in bulk.
